In November 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Bridget Tichenor (1917-1990) by Bridget Tichenor. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,467.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bridget Tichenor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October last year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 152,204.55).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bridget Tichenor (1917-1990) von Bridget Tichenor zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.467,90) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bridget Tichenor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 152.204,55).
