This artwork by Breon O'Casey achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2009. In the 20th Century British Art including The Olga Davenport Collection auction, the work St Ives Still Life sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,313.40) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Breon O'Casey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jungle Bird, which sold at auction in September 2019 for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,515.25).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Breon O'Casey erzielte im März 2009 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art including The Olga Davenport Collection wurde die Arbeit St Ives Still Life für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.313,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Breon O'Casey mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jungle Bird beobachtet, die im September 2019 für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.515,25) versteigert wurde.
