Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2024 Bonhams in Brussels held the auction Prints & Multiples Online, which included the work Mason Putman 309, 1978 by Bram van Velde. The price achieved of EUR 332.80 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 200.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bram van Velde achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre (Paris, Rue Gît-Le-Coeur) in May 2012 with an auction result of EUR 444,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2024 führte Bonhams in Brüssel die Auktion Prints & Multiples Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mason Putman 309, 1978 von Bram van Velde zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 332,80 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 200,00 – 400,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bram van Velde erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre (Paris, Rue Gît-Le-Coeur) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 444.750,00.
