Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Discoveries, which included this untitled work by Bosco Sodi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 47,880.00 (€ 56,326.26), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bosco Sodi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 175,000.00 (€ 162,927.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Discoveries durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bosco Sodi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 47.880,00 (€ 56.326,26) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Bosco Sodi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 175.000,00 (€ 162.927,10) versteigert wurde.
