Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Grisebach held the auction Online Only 2021/2022 - Contemporary Online Only 29.10.-14.11.21, which included this untitled work by Bosco Sodi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,375.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bosco Sodi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 162,927.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Grisebach die Auktion Online Only 2021/2022 - Contemporary Online Only 29.10.-14.11.21 durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bosco Sodi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.375,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bosco Sodi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 162.927,10).
