Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction RUSSIAN PICTURES, which included the work The Study Of Theodor Kozlianinoff by Boris Zvorykin. The price achieved of GBP 2,390.00 (€ 3,438.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boris Zvorykin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Three costume designs for 'Prince Igor': Kontchakovna (i); Khan Kontchak (ii); and Ovlur polovtchanin (iii), which sold at auction in November 2018 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,279.70).
