Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Construction Mentale, 2013 by Boris Nzebo was sold in the Modern and Contemporary African Art auction at Bonhams in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 3,562.50 (€ 3,955.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Boris Nzebo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gabonese hlm (Habitats À Loyer Modérés) in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,915.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Construction Mentale, 2013 von Boris Nzebo wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary African Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.562,50 (€ 3.955,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Boris Nzebo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gabonese hlm (Habitats À Loyer Modérés) im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.915,37).
