This artwork by Boris Bilinsky achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2021. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Costume Designs for Prince Achmed in Shéhérazade and Snow Queen (Two Works) sold for GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,793.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Boris Bilinsky; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Costume Design For La Princesse Cygne: A Boyar sold at auction in November 2013 with the realized price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,050.49).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Boris Bilinsky erzielte im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Costume Designs for Prince Achmed in Shéhérazade and Snow Queen (Two Works) für GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.793,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Boris Bilinsky; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Costume Design For La Princesse Cygne: A Boyar im November 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.050,49).
