Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Funktion by Boris Chemetov was worth EUR 1,800.00 to a buyer in March 2007. This price was achieved in the auction Kerseboom Unlimited; a no reserve sale ! at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 600.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Boris Chemetov; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composition sold at auction in March 2007 with the realized price of EUR 2,640.00.

Die Arbeit Funktion von Boris Chemetov war einem Käufer im März 2007 EUR 1.800,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Kerseboom Unlimited; a no reserve sale ! bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Boris Chemetov; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Composition im März 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 2.640,00.
