Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Still life with flowers by Børge Bokkenheuser was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in July this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,550.00 (€ 207.89). Admittedly, works by Børge Bokkenheuser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Coastal scenery in April this year with an auction result of DKK 6,500.00 (€ 871.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Still life with flowers von Børge Bokkenheuser im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.550,00 (€ 207,89) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Børge Bokkenheuser auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Coastal scenery im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 6.500,00 (€ 871,97).
