This artwork by Bohumír Matal achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2017. In the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction, the work Czech green Abstract sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,932.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bohumír Matal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech the Lovers (Milenci) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 103,250.00 (€ 114,226.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bohumír Matal erzielte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective wurde die Arbeit Czech green Abstract für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.932,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bohumír Matal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Czech the Lovers (Milenci) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 103.250,00 (€ 114.226,93).
