In December 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Online, which included the work Kavaleri 26 Xxvi by Bob Yudhita Agung. The result of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,431.01) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bob Yudhita Agung have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dream Final in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 14,121.85).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kavaleri 26 Xxvi von Bob Yudhita Agung zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.431,01) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bob Yudhita Agung auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Dream Final im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 14.121,85).
