Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Haram Land by Bob Yudhita Agung was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 4,002.85) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bob Yudhita Agung - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Dream Final, which sold at auction in April 2011 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 14,121.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Haram Land von Bob Yudhita Agung kam im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 4.002,85) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Bob Yudhita Agung mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Dream Final beobachtet, die im April 2011 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 14.121,85) versteigert wurde.
