Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work For Dolls That Do Dishes, 2004 by Bob Carlos Clarke. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,250.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Bob Carlos Clarke have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2017 the work 'Vanessa And Vicky Kissing', 2002 was auctioned for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,092.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit For Dolls That Do Dishes, 2004 von Bob Carlos Clarke zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.250,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Bob Carlos Clarke konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2017 die Arbeit 'Vanessa And Vicky Kissing', 2002 für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.092,60) versteigert.
