Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Christies in London held the auction Victorian & British Impressionist Art, which included the work Village scene by Blandford Fletcher. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,997.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Blandford Fletcher - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Regatta, which sold at auction in March 2005 for GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,359.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian & British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Village scene von Blandford Fletcher zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.997,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Blandford Fletcher mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Regatta beobachtet, die im März 2005 für GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.359,89) versteigert wurde.
