In the Fine 19th Century European Art auction, the work A silver-mounted ivory Tankard, a Renaissance silver-gilt-mounted agate Cup and a Renaissance etched Glass on an agate Stand with an Iris on a draped marble Ledge changed hands for USD 14,340.00 (€ 11,677.52) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Blaise Alexandre Desgoffe have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2011 by the work Composition À La Verseuse En Cristal De Roche, À La Chope En Ivoire, Coupe En Serpentine Et Orchidée at EUR 19,126.00.
