Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2015 Artcurial held the auction Urban Art, which included the work The Wall - 1983 by Blade. The price achieved of EUR 9,100.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Blade have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Beyond The Wall, 1984 in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 37,176.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Urban Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Wall - 1983 von Blade zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.100,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Blade auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Beyond The Wall, 1984 im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.176,00.
