In February 2012 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Street Art, which included the work Sans Titre, 2011 by Blade. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,913.00 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Blade achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beyond The Wall, 1984 in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 37,176.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2012 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Street Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2011 von Blade zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.913,00 und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Blade erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beyond The Wall, 1984 im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.176,00.
