Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Enchartered Course, 1987 by Blade was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,825.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Blade have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Beyond The Wall, 1984 in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 37,176.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Enchartered Course, 1987 von Blade kam im März 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.825,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Blade auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Beyond The Wall, 1984 im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.176,00.
