Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2010 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Birgit Megerle for USD 625.00 (€ 462.07). This price was achieved in the auction NOW: Art of the 21st Century Theme Sale at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Birgit Megerle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ohne Titel (The Architect of Happiness and Failure). in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 6,192.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2010 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Birgit Megerle für USD 625,00 (€ 462,07) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion NOW: Art of the 21st Century Theme Sale bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Birgit Megerle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel (The Architect of Happiness and Failure). im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.192,00.
