The work "Skridskoåkare II" by Birgit Broms was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020. It achieved a price of SEK 70,000.00 (€ 6,693.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Admittedly, works by Birgit Broms have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Blasieholmstorg II" in April 2016 with an auction result of SEK 420,000.00 (€ 45,704.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Skridskoåkare II" von Birgit Broms kam im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 70.000,00 (€ 6.693,97) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Birgit Broms auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Blasieholmstorg II" im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 420.000,00 (€ 45.704,05).
