Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Skater by Birgit Broms was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,442.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Birgit Broms achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Blasieholmstorg II" in April 2016 with an auction result of SEK 420,000.00 (€ 45,704.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Skater von Birgit Broms kam im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.442,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Birgit Broms erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Blasieholmstorg II" im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 420.000,00 (€ 45.704,05).
