It achieved a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,760.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Billy Childish achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work toward a shore in March last year with an auction result of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 194,203.34).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Billy Childish erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit toward a shore im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 194.203,34).
