Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work The Sippin' Jug by Bill Nebeker for USD 937.50 (€ 823.89). This price was achieved in the auction The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Bill Nebeker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Wonder of it All 23 1/2 in. high in November last year with an auction result of USD 7,012.50 (€ 6,793.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Sippin' Jug von Bill Nebeker für USD 937,50 (€ 823,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bill Nebeker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Wonder of it All 23 1/2 in. high im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.012,50 (€ 6.793,08).
