Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included this untitled work by Bibi Zogbé. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,249.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bibi Zogbé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lebanesecactus in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 63,432.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bibi Zogbé zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.249,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bibi Zogbé auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lebanesecactus im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 63.432,65).
