Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Bibi Zogbé was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,349.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bibi Zogbé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lebanesecactus in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 63,432.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bibi Zogbé wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.349,73) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bibi Zogbé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lebanesecactus im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 63.432,65).
