Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cardos by Bibi Zogbé was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections auction at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,857.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bibi Zogbé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lebanesecactus in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 63,432.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cardos von Bibi Zogbé wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.750,00 (€ 14.857,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bibi Zogbé auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lebanesecactus im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 63.432,65).
