Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Crane And Pheasant by Bian Wenjin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 36,500.00 (€ 51,109.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Bian Wenjin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2021 the work Crane, Pheasant and Peony was auctioned for HKD 815,000.00 (€ 92,315.78).
