Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Bi Yuan was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. It changed hands for a price of HKD 115,000.00 (€ 10,912.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bi Yuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy in Running Script, which sold at auction in November 2019 for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 43,493.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Bi Yuan kam im Oktober 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 115.000,00 (€ 10.912,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bi Yuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script beobachtet, die im November 2019 für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 43.493,06) versteigert wurde.
