Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Villages On The Mountain by Bi Jian. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,016.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 45,000.00. Other works by Bi Jian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work Landscape was auctioned for HKD 49,560.00 (€ 5,659.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Villages On The Mountain von Bi Jian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.016,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Bi Jian konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2017 die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 49.560,00 (€ 5.659,09) versteigert.
