This price was achieved in the auction Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy at China Guardian in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Landscape the most expensive artwork by Bi Jian that we have observed at auctions so far.
