Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sculpture - 1942 by Berto Lardera. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 15,744.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Berto Lardera have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre - 1952 in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 97,560.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sculpture - 1942 von Berto Lardera zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 15.744,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Berto Lardera auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1952 im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 97.560,00.
