Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View from the artist's studio towards the Marble Church, Copenhagen by Bertha Wegmann was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year. The price achieved of DKK 220,000.00 (€ 29,534.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 200,000.00 – 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bertha Wegmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Danish tender Moments, which sold at auction in May 2016 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 89,711.50).

Die Arbeit View from the artist's studio towards the Marble Church, Copenhagen von Bertha Wegmann kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 220.000,00 (€ 29.534,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 200.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bertha Wegmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Danish tender Moments beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 89.711,50) versteigert wurde.
