A top price for Bertha Wegmann
In May 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Danish tender Moments by Bertha Wegmann. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 68,750.00 (€ 89,711.50), 38% above the upper estimate. With this result, Danish tender Moments is even the most expensive work of art by Bertha Wegmann that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Danish tender Moments von Bertha Wegmann zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 89.711,50) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Danish tender Moments sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Bertha Wegmann, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
