Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work View from a forest with tall slender trees by Bertha Wegmann for DKK 32,000.00 (€ 4,295.97). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, drawings and icons at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bertha Wegmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danish tender Moments in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 89,711.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit View from a forest with tall slender trees von Bertha Wegmann für DKK 32.000,00 (€ 4.295,97) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, drawings and icons bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bertha Wegmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danish tender Moments im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 89.711,50).
