In March this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work “Vindue i Hellebæk” by Bertha Dorph. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 7,500.00 (€ 1,006.48), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bertha Dorph - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Girl with a doll, which sold at auction in June 2019 for SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,475.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit “Vindue i Hellebæk” von Bertha Dorph zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 7.500,00 (€ 1.006,48) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Bertha Dorph mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Girl with a doll beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.475,53) versteigert wurde.
