Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Le Jeune, A Collecting Legacy: The Amsterdam No Reserve Edit, which included the work M wie L by Bernd Lohaus. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 882.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernd Lohaus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (ZWISCHEN IST EBEN DAS / WAS DU-UND / ODER ICH DA ZWISCHEN B IST) in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 21,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Le Jeune, A Collecting Legacy: The Amsterdam No Reserve Edit durch, in der auch die Arbeit M wie L von Bernd Lohaus zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 882,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernd Lohaus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (ZWISCHEN IST EBEN DAS / WAS DU-UND / ODER ICH DA ZWISCHEN B IST) im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.250,00.
