Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art including Contemporary Art from a Private Collection, which included the work Tower Sunset by Bernardo Siciliano. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernardo Siciliano - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Domino Sugar N. 5, which sold at auction in May 2010 for EUR 34,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art including Contemporary Art from a Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tower Sunset von Bernardo Siciliano zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernardo Siciliano mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Domino Sugar N. 5 beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für EUR 34.350,00 versteigert wurde.
