The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,629.00 (€ 3,973.00), 31% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernard Salomon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Joseph and Potiphar's Wife (Gen. 39), which sold at auction in July 2004 for GBP 8,126.00 (€ 12,280.17).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.629,00 (€ 3.973,00) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
