Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art 2, which included the work La Torsade, 1990-91 by Bernard Pages. The price achieved of EUR 6,630.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernard Pages - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Echelette, 1990, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 15,490.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Torsade, 1990-91 von Bernard Pages zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.630,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernard Pages mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'Echelette, 1990 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 15.490,00 versteigert wurde.
