A top price for Bernard Myers - as previously expected
The work Blue glass compotier by Bernard Myers was sold in the 20th Century British and Irish Art and the Collection of the auction at Christies in London in June 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 537.75 (€ 772.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Blue glass compotier is the most expensive artwork by Bernard Myers that we have observed at auctions so far.
