Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Construction blanche by Bernard Moninot was sold in the Intérieurs auction at Christies in Paris in July 2011. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernard Moninot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ensemble De 5 Oeuvres - 1988-92, which sold at auction in March 2019 for EUR 6,630.00.

Die Arbeit Construction blanche von Bernard Moninot wurde im Juli 2011 in der Auktion Intérieurs bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernard Moninot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ensemble De 5 Oeuvres - 1988-92 beobachtet, die im März 2019 für EUR 6.630,00 versteigert wurde.
