However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernard Lorjou - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tournesols, which sold at auction in November 2011 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,874.82).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 11.050,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernard Lorjou mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tournesols beobachtet, die im November 2011 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.874,82) versteigert wurde.
