Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art including The Studio of Humphrey Jennings, which included the work At Goncelin by Bernard Fleetwood-Walker. The price achieved of GBP 360.00 (€ 527.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard Fleetwood-Walker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'The Toilet' in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,394.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art including The Studio of Humphrey Jennings durch, in der auch die Arbeit At Goncelin von Bernard Fleetwood-Walker zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 360,00 (€ 527,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernard Fleetwood-Walker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'The Toilet' im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.394,64).
