Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mother and child by Bernard de Hoog was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2009. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,125.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard de Hoog achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The bliss of motherhood in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 45,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mother and child von Bernard de Hoog kam im September 2009 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernard de Hoog erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The bliss of motherhood im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.600,00.
