Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch Doing Needlework By The Window by Bernard de Hoog was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bernard de Hoog have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The bliss of motherhood in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 45,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dutch Doing Needlework By The Window von Bernard de Hoog kam im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard de Hoog auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The bliss of motherhood im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.600,00.
