Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bernard Cathelin could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist and Modern Art auction, the work La ferme de la plaine, Montéléger changed hands for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,031.41) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernard Cathelin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bougainvilliea Et Begonia À La Table Rouge, which sold at auction in May 2014 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 23,826.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit La ferme de la plaine, Montéléger für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.031,41) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernard Cathelin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bougainvilliea Et Begonia À La Table Rouge beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 23.826,98) versteigert wurde.
