In September 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work Retour De Chasse Dans Une Officine by Bernaert de Bridt. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,550.00 52% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernaert de Bridt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A hunting still life with a pheasant and songbirds in a landscape; and A hunting still life with a cat, a dead hare and songbirds in a landscape, which sold at auction in November 2003 for EUR 16,730.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 52 % übertroffen
Im September 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Retour De Chasse Dans Une Officine von Bernaert de Bridt zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.550,00 und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernaert de Bridt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A hunting still life with a pheasant and songbirds in a landscape; and A hunting still life with a cat, a dead hare and songbirds in a landscape beobachtet, die im November 2003 für EUR 16.730,00 versteigert wurde.
