Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2002 Christies in London held the auction British Pop Prints, which included the work Monoprint with green upright by Berenice Sydney. The price achieved of GBP 329.00 (€ 520.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Berenice Sydney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orbiting in March 2013 with an auction result of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,223.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion British Pop Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monoprint with green upright von Berenice Sydney zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 329,00 (€ 520,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 400,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Berenice Sydney erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orbiting im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.223,72).
