In the Photographs auction, the work Nightview, New York at Night, Empire State Building, 1932 sold for USD 56,250.00 (€ 50,941.86) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Berenice Abbott; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot New York At Night, 1932 sold at auction in October 2013 with the realized price of USD 87,500.00 (€ 64,366.63).
